# Xinhua News Agency authorized to release the "Government Work Report"

Xinhua News Agency, authorized on the 13th, fully broadcasted the "Government Work Report" delivered by Premier Li Qiang on behalf of the State Council at the Fourth Session of the 14th National People's Congress. On March 12, the Fourth Session of the 14th National People's Congress voted to approve the resolution on the Government Work Report, endorsing this report. The report pointed out that this year's main expected development goals are: economic growth of 4.5% - 5%, striving for better results in actual work; urban surveyed unemployment rate around 5.5%, with over 12 million new urban jobs; consumer price increase around 2%; synchronization of residents' income growth with economic growth; basic balance of international payments; grain production around 1.4 trillion jin; and a reduction of carbon dioxide emissions per unit of GDP by about 3.8%
