# NVIDIA GTC Conference: New Layout of Space Computing and Enterprise AI

At the GTC annual developer conference, NVIDIA announced the launch of a dedicated computing module for space scenarios, revealing plans for a space version based on the Vera Rubin architecture, and released the enterprise-level AI intelligence platform NemoClaw, highlighting its expansion ambitions in the AI infrastructure field. NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang stated that six partners, including Aetherflux and Axiom Space, will deploy its computing hardware in orbit, with the new space module targeting scenarios such as orbital data centers, and AI inference computing power improved by 25 times compared to the previously sent H100 GPUs.

NVIDIA's entry into space computing began last November when Starcloud sent H100 GPUs aboard a test satellite into orbit. The newly released space computing module is divided into three levels: the Vera Rubin space module for high-intensity loads (release date not yet announced), the edge scenario product IGX Thor based on the Blackwell architecture, and Jetson Orin suitable for real-time data processing, with the latter two already officially supplied. Each partner will choose corresponding products based on their needs. Jensen Huang emphasized that AI processing capabilities need to cover both space and ground, aiding space exploration and autonomous operations. NVIDIA is also currently recruiting orbital data center system architects to lay out a new track.

The competition in the space computing track is becoming increasingly fierce. Google plans to launch TPUs into space, having completed low Earth orbit radiation environment testing and reached a small-scale cooperation with Planet, with a long-term goal of delivering gigawatt-level computing power; Elon Musk plans to deploy a super constellation of orbital AI data centers with millions of satellites, using Tesla's self-developed chips. However, industry insiders, including OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, hold a critical view of the commercial prospects of space data centers.

The NemoClaw platform launched by NVIDIA is built on the open-source project OpenClaw, adding enterprise-level security and privacy mechanisms, supporting access to various programming agents and open-source AI models, deeply integrated with the NeMo suite and hardware compatible and open, without relying on NVIDIA's own GPUs. The platform is currently in the early Alpha testing phase, and NVIDIA admits that it still has rough edges and is advancing production readiness capabilities
