Recently, at the second Global Nuclear Energy Summit held in Paris, a joint statement was issued by 33 countries, including China and France, clearly stating the theme "Making safe and affordable nuclear energy accessible to all." It emphasized that nuclear energy is a key strategic component in achieving a clean and low-carbon energy transition. Just four months ago, French President Macron made his fourth state visit to China, where the two countries signed a "Joint Statement on Continuing to Promote Cooperation in the Peaceful Use of Nuclear Energy"—from global consensus on the multilateral stage to practical implementation at the bilateral level, nuclear energy, a traditional cornerstone of China-France cooperation, is radiating new brilliance in this era.
