# Metro Palais reforming its stores to set up the largest local indoor Samsung LED screen | Lianhe Zaobao

Metro's Paragon store is undergoing a new phase of reform, with the SLEEPLAB retail department becoming the largest location in the region to adopt Samsung LED screens, creating an immersive retail space for shoppers.

Metro Private Limited and Samsung Electronics Singapore announced on Tuesday (March 17) that they have signed a memorandum of understanding to promote the retail transformation of the Metro Paragon store.

The statement said, "Metro intends to leverage Samsung's advanced technology to support its ongoing retail transformation plan. This includes deploying large digital signage solutions and utilizing Samsung's SmartThings Pro integrated business solution platform and MagicINFO integrated content management system to optimize operations."

In the coming months, the Metro Paragon store will install up to 12 large digital signage displays across its three floors. These displays will replace traditional low-resolution LED and LCD screens. Consumers will also be able to experience Samsung's rich product portfolio and learn how to integrate these devices at home for a better user experience.

In the newly opened 10,000 square foot SLEEPLAB retail department, there is a 60.72-meter-long (U-shaped) Samsung IEA series commercial LED screen that wraps around three walls of the showroom. SLEEPLAB is part of Metro's retail transformation plan, aimed at providing suitable mattresses for customers seeking the perfect sleep experience by creating an immersive space Pillows and bedding. This retail department provides visual and auditory experiences for consumers while shopping, managed centrally by Samsung's SmartThings Pro and MagicINFO, while also helping Metro save energy consumption
