In a statement on Wednesday, Atome said the agreement can expand payment options for customers at one of the Philippines’ largest restaurant networks. Atome, known for buy now pay later (BNPL) service, said it has issued over two million cards in the Philippines, with about 80 percent held by first-time cardholders. Many users reportedly use the card for everyday expenses such as groceries, transport, fuel, utility payments, and dining. Cardholders are located across Metro Manila, Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. The partnership extends card acceptance throughout Jollibee’s nationwide store network. Reynaldo “Kakam” P. Gabunada Jr., Head of Regional Business Unit and National Key Accounts Group at Jollibee Philippines, said the partnership supports the company’s efforts to provide more convenient and accessible payment options for customers. Christian Quiros, President and Country General Manager of Atome Philippines, said the collaboration aims to expand access to financial services and integrate flexible payment options into daily spending. In 2025, Atome received the Digital Lending Product of the Year award for the Atome Card at the Global Retail Banking Awards in Singapore.
