# CHERY released its next-generation battery technology and energy system, along with a comprehensive battery safety architecture

On March 18th, CHERY AUTO released a new generation of battery technology and energy systems, a comprehensive battery safety architecture, as well as a series of green energy products and forward-looking ecological layouts. CHERY AUTO named the released battery the Rhino Battery, which can achieve a range increase of 500 kilometers with an 8-minute charge and a battery cycle life of 5,000 times
