# The second phase of the Jurong Island Logistics Center continues to progress, with the construction of the third and fourth floors underway | Lianhe Zaobao

The second phase of the Jurong Island Logistics Hub development continued to make progress in March, with structural work on the third and fourth floors underway.

COSCO SHIPPING International (Singapore) announced this on Wednesday (March 18).

Cogent, a wholly-owned subsidiary of COSCO SHIPPING International (Singapore), has invested SGD 140 million to construct the second phase of the Jurong Island Logistics Hub to meet the increasing demand for logistics services from businesses on Jurong Island. The second phase covers an area of 2.5 hectares, with a total floor area of 62,500 square meters, and upon completion at the end of 2026, it will double the storage space of the Jurong Island Logistics Hub.

It was noted that other ongoing works for the second phase include the installation of internal drainage systems, construction of external driveways, installation of fire protection systems, and installation of air conditioning ducts.
