# In the performance report, BOC AVIATION's annual net profit was USD 787 million, a decrease of 14.8%, with a final dividend of 30.61 cents

BOC Aviation (02588.HK) announced its full-year results for the year ending last December, with revenue of USD 2.619 billion, an increase of 2.4% year-on-year. Net profit was USD 787 million, a decrease of 14.8% year-on-year; earnings per share were USD 1.13. A final dividend of 30.61 cents was declared, setting a record high for the semi-annual dividend payout, compared to 26.7 cents in the same period last year. Together with the interim dividend of 14.76 cents, the total dividend for the year amounted to 45.37 cents per share.

The group stated that although delivery volumes have improved, the expectation of aircraft supply shortages is likely to continue until the end of this year. In 2025, the total value of aircraft deliveries in the industry is expected to grow to USD 100 billion, an increase of 28% from the previous year. This reflects an increase in combined deliveries from Airbus and Boeing to approximately 1,400 aircraft in 2025, an increase of about 25% from 2024. However, it is estimated that 26% of the aircraft originally scheduled for delivery in 2025 will be postponed to future years.

In an improving environment, the group plans to deliver 51 new aircraft to airline customers in 2025, an increase of 13 aircraft compared to 2024, and higher than the delivery guidance provided by the group in the same period last year. During the year, it committed to purchasing an additional 160 aircraft, significantly expanding its order book to 337 aircraft
