According to a report by research consulting firm Omdia, driven by demand for artificial intelligence and growth across all major sectors, the global semiconductor market is projected to soar to over $830 billion by 2025. DRAM (Dynamic Random Access Memory) has become the fastest-growing segment, with revenue rising from just over $50 billion in 2023 to nearly doubling last year, surpassing $150 billion, with an annual growth rate exceeding 50%. Unlike the sluggish automotive, consumer, and industrial sectors in 2024, every major sector achieved growth in 2025. NVIDIA leads with revenue of $150.3 billion, a year-on-year increase of 54%; followed by Samsung Electronics with revenue of $85.8 billion; SK Hynix ranks third with $67.2 billion. Micron Technology's revenue surged by 56% to $45.6 billion; Broadcom and Advanced Micro Devices grew by 28% and 33%, respectively. Apple generated $34.4 billion from semiconductor-related businesses, while Intel was the only company among the top ten to experience a revenue decline. Currently, the top ten companies hold 42% of the market share, up from 24% previously, clearly demonstrating the significant impact of artificial intelligence. According to Omdia's forecast, with the further expansion of artificial intelligence, the chip market could exceed $1 trillion by 2026 ### Related Stocks - [NVIDIA Corporation (NVDA.US)](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/NVDA.US.md) - [Global X Artfcl Intlgc & Tech ETF (AIQ.US)](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/AIQ.US.md) - [T-REX 2X Inverse NVIDIA Daily Target ETF (NVDQ.US)](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/NVDQ.US.md) - [First Trust Nasdaq Semiconductor ETF (FTXL.US)](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/FTXL.US.md) - [T-REX 2X Long NVIDIA Daily Target ETF (NVDX.US)](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/NVDX.US.md) - [Invesco PHLX Semiconductor ETF (SOXQ.US)](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/SOXQ.US.md) - [Invesco Semiconductors ETF (PSI.US)](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/PSI.US.md) - [Direxion Daily NVDA Bull 2X Shares (NVDU.US)](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/NVDU.US.md) - [VanEck Semiconductor ETF (SMH.US)](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/SMH.US.md) - [YieldMax NVDA Option Income Strategy ETF (NVDY.US)](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/NVDY.US.md) - [Direxion Daily Semicondct Bull 3X ETF (SOXL.US)](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/SOXL.US.md) - [iShares Future AI & Tech ETF (ARTY.US)](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/ARTY.US.md) - [iShares Semiconductor ETF (SOXX.US)](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/SOXX.US.md) - [Global X Robotics & Artfcl Intllgnc ETF (BOTZ.US)](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/BOTZ.US.md) - [GraniteShares 2x Long NVDA Daily ETF (NVDL.US)](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/NVDL.US.md) - [State Street® SPDR® S&P® Smcndctr ETF (XSD.US)](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/XSD.US.md) - [XL2CSOPNVDA (07788.HK)](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/07788.HK.md) - [XI2CSOPNVDA (07388.HK)](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/07388.HK.md) - [Direxion Daily NVDA Bear 1X ETF (NVDD.US)](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/NVDD.US.md) ## Related News & Research - [Trump Gives Nvidia Investors Score Big Win](https://longbridge.com/en/news/279478186.md) - [Nvidia reopens China channel, but H200 flows remain policy-constrained](https://longbridge.com/en/news/279768278.md) - [SpaceX Doubles Down on Nvidia (NVDA) Chips Amid Musk's AI Expansion Plans](https://longbridge.com/en/news/279809619.md) - [Nvidia Stock vs. Micron Stock: Billionaires Buy One and Sell the Other](https://longbridge.com/en/news/279397051.md) - [Super Micro Computer Launches New Enterprise AI Systems for Nvidia Blackwell GPUs, Vera CPUs](https://longbridge.com/en/news/279620952.md)
