# TrendForce: Taiwan Semiconductor's advanced process prices are set to rise, with orders extending to 2027

Research institution TrendForce released the latest wafer foundry industry research report yesterday, indicating that advanced processes are in short supply, and the quotes for TSMC and Samsung's foundry services below 5 nanometers have been confirmed to increase. TSMC will comprehensively raise the foundry prices for 5/4 nanometer processes below in 2026, as order visibility extends to 2027, and further price increases cannot be ruled out
