# Ministry of Industry and Information Technology: Build emerging pillar industries such as integrated circuits and cultivate future industries like embodied intelligence

On March 19th, Xin Guobin, a member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice Minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, presided over a symposium in Qingdao, Shandong Province, on the operation of the industrial economy in the first quarter and the preparation of the 14th Five-Year Plan. The meeting emphasized the need to place greater importance on promoting stable growth in the industrial economy, focusing on key industries and regions, aligning supply and demand efforts, and effectively implementing policies to boost domestic demand such as "two heavies" and "two news." It aims to create new demand through high-quality supply and further smooth the domestic circulation; promote export diversification and stabilize industrial exports
