To maximize the use of solar energy, we need to launch **100 million tons** of equipment into space each year to capture solar energy. This requires achieving ultra-large-scale deployment: The capability to launch millions of tons of materials into orbit; AI satellites powered by solar energy; and millions of Tesla Optimus robots participating in the construction. All of this equipment requires chip support: the Optimus robots alone need 100 to 200 gigawatts of chips, while the solar AI satellites require terawatt-level chip supply. This demand far exceeds the total capacity of all chip manufacturers globally, and even by 2030 (based on capacity growth forecasts), it will not be met.
