On the 22nd, Han Wenxiu, the deputy director in charge of daily work at the Central Financial Committee Office, stated in Beijing, "After years of effort, China's independent innovation capability has crossed a certain turning point, and external forces are difficult to reverse our development." Han Wenxiu pointed out that China will accelerate the construction of a new energy system, continuously increase the proportion of new energy supply, strengthen the safe, reliable, and orderly replacement of fossil energy, and promote the peak consumption of coal and oil. During the 14th Five-Year Plan period, the goal is to achieve a 25% share of non-fossil energy consumption and a cumulative reduction of 17% in carbon dioxide emissions per unit of GDP, thereby making a positive contribution to addressing global climate change
