# Shanghai Electric and China Copper Industry Discuss New Opportunities for Strategic Cooperation during the 14th Five-Year Plan

Last Friday (20th), Wu Lei, Chairman of Shanghai Electric Group, visited China Copper and held talks with its General Manager Ji Shujun. The two sides engaged in in-depth discussions on topics such as deepening industrial synergy, expanding cooperation areas, and promoting green and low-carbon development.

Ji Shujun stated that the two sides have strong industrial complementarity and broad cooperation prospects, and he looks forward to using this meeting as an opportunity to deepen practical cooperation in areas such as upgrading mineral resource development equipment, intelligent transformation of non-ferrous metal smelting, and construction of green energy projects, achieving resource sharing and complementary advantages, and jointly promoting high-quality development in the industry.

Wu Lei expressed that Shanghai Electric is willing to fully support China Copper's green transformation and intelligent upgrade during the 14th Five-Year Plan period, and looks forward to strengthening innovative cooperation in areas such as international market expansion, construction of a circular economy industrial chain, and collaborative innovation in production, education, and research, jointly creating a model for coordinated development between central and local state-owned enterprises
