# Huabao International's subsidiary Huabao Fragrance turned a profit of 83.8 million yuan last year

According to a report from Economic Information Daily on the 23rd, Huabao International (00336) announced that its subsidiary Huabao Fragrance Co., Ltd. (Shenzhen: 300741) recorded a net profit of HKD 83.804 million for the year ending December 31 last year, while it is expected to incur a net loss of approximately HKD 300 million for the same period in 2024; earnings per share were 14 cents. After excluding non-recurring gains and losses, the net profit was HKD 75.3 million, while the net loss for the same period in 2024, after excluding non-recurring gains and losses, was HKD 390 million.

The group indicated that operating revenue was HKD 1.34 billion, a decrease of 1.4%; the weighted average return on net assets was 1.23%, while the weighted average return on net assets for the same period in 2024 was 4.3%. (wh)
