The two companies intend to establish a joint venture focused on electric powertrain solutions, with operations expected to begin by mid-2026. The new entity will be equally owned by both partners and headquartered in Pune, in the western Indian state of Maharashtra. The boards of the Bosch Group, Bosch Limited in India, and Tata AutoComp Systems Limited have already approved the transaction. However, the formation of the new entity still requires approval from antitrust authorities. Both companies are confident that their collaboration will ‘significant impetus for the e-mobility market in India and develop innovative solutions for our customers,’ as stated in an accompanying announcement. Tata AutoComp Systems, the supplier, is part of the Tata Group, the Indian conglomerate that also includes vehicle manufacturer Tata Motors. Bosch has already invested more than six billion euros globally in electric mobility. According to the company, the planned partnership will enable it to introduce its e-axle systems and e-motor solutions to the growing Indian market. However, Bosch is under pressure: just a few months ago, the company intensified its cost-cutting measures, including the elimination of thousands of jobs in Germany. The company is under pressure to increase revenue from its electric mobility components business. However, this is not reflected in the tone of the official statement by Markus Heyn, Managing Director of Robert Bosch GmbH and Chairman of Bosch Mobility, regarding the planned India partnership. “India’s dynamic development towards electromobility is impressive and aligns perfectly with the strategic direction of Bosch Mobility,” he said. “For us, electromobility is a key area for the future, and we are consistently investing in the entire value chain – from semiconductors to complete eAxle systems.” He describes the planned partnership with Tata AutoComp Systems Limited as a decisive step, ‘in which we aim to combine our global technology leadership with strong local expertise.’ “India’s mobility ecosystem is undergoing a rapid transformation driven by electrification, localisation, and the need for scalable technology solutions,” added Arvind Goel, Vice Chairman of Tata AutoComp Systems Limited. “This joint venture between Tata AutoComp Systems and Bosch Limited brings together complementary strengths in engineering, technology, and manufacturing to accelerate the development of advanced e-mobility solutions for the Indian market.” bosch-presse.de ### Related Stocks - [516380.CN](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/516380.CN.md) - [515030.CN](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/515030.CN.md) - [BOSCH.NA](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/BOSCH.NA.md) - [CARZ.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/CARZ.US.md) ## Related News & Research - [Xiaomi reportedly plans ‘Sky Nomad’ sub-brand with range extender models](https://longbridge.com/en/news/287029031.md) - [BYD delays flagship electric SUV launch as preorders surge to over 100,000](https://longbridge.com/en/news/286797437.md) - [Are Wall Street Analysts Predicting Brown-Forman Stock Will Climb or Sink?](https://longbridge.com/en/news/286932286.md) - [Elis: Disclosure of the number of shares forming the capital and of the total number of voting rights as of 30 04 2026](https://longbridge.com/en/news/286770212.md) - [Volvo reveals EX60 prices start at under $60,000 with over 300 miles rangeof](https://longbridge.com/en/news/286808075.md)
