# Tackling Rocket Recovery Technology: Industry Discusses Commercial Aerospace Development Opportunities

On March 22, the Jielong-3 carrier rocket successfully sent the CentiSpace-1 Group 02 satellites into the predetermined orbit, one of several launch missions completed by the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation this month. As carrier rockets enter an intensive launch period, rocket recovery technology has become the core engine and game-changer for commercial aerospace to break through cost bottlenecks and achieve scaled development. "Now is a good time to invest in commercial aerospace," "I believe everyone will see successful cases of first-stage rocket recovery this year," "i-Space will be ready by the end of this year to carry out orbital insertion and recovery at an opportune moment"... At the 2026 Shanghai Jiao Tong University Alumni Investment Annual Meeting held in Shanghai on March 22, guests from universities, star startup companies, and well-known PE firms discussed the accelerated development and investment opportunities across the entire commercial aerospace industry chain.

Publicly available information shows that multiple companies have announced their timelines for rocket recovery tests. LandSpace's Zhuque-3 and CAS Space's Lijian-2 plan to conduct recovery tests again in the second quarter of this year. Space Pioneer's Tianlong-3, i-Space's Hyperbola-3, Galactic Energy's Pallas-1, Rocket Pi's Yuanxingzhe-1, Deep Blue Aerospace's Nebula-1, and Orienspace's Gravity-2, among others, will conduct their maiden flights this year.
