# REM GROUP HLDGS's annual net profit increased 2.3 times to HKD 5.39 million, no dividend declared

According to a report from the Economic Information Agency on the 24th, REM GROUP HLDGS (01750) announced a net profit of HKD 5.393 million for the year ended December 31 last year, an increase of 2.3 times year-on-year; earnings per share were 0.3 cents, with no final dividend declared.

The group stated that revenue was HKD 160 million, up 15%, mainly due to the expansion of its customer base and increased contributions from the Simple Public Housing and Kwu Tung projects; gross profit was HKD 42.787 million, up 16.8%; gross profit margin was approximately 26.4%, an increase of 0.4 percentage points; sales costs increased by approximately 14.4% to about HKD 120 million. Profit before tax was HKD 6.294 million, an increase of 2.4 times. (wh)
