# Amazon states that AWS's Bahrain region was "disrupted" after drone activity

Amazon stated that its Amazon Web Services region in Bahrain has been "disrupted" due to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East. An Amazon spokesperson mentioned in response to media inquiries that the interruption was caused by drone activity in the area. Amazon indicated that during the recovery period, it is assisting customers in migrating to other AWS regions
