# "Hong Kong Stocks" The Hang Seng Index rose 9 points in the half-day, Nongfu Spring jumped over 8%, and HAIDILAO fell 10%

Iran allows non-hostile vessels to pass through the Strait of Hormuz as per regulations, and the market anticipates a ceasefire agreement between the United States and Iran. Brent crude oil electronic futures fell by more than 6%, while Hong Kong stocks rose in early trading. The Hang Seng Index opened up 216 points, with the initial gain expanding to 326 points, reaching 25,390 points before narrowing the increase to 9 points, closing at 25,073 points; the National Index fell by 16 points or 0.2%, closing at 8,483 points; the Hang Seng Tech Index fell by 23 points or 0.5%, closing at 4,807 points. The total turnover of the market for the half-day was HKD 151.293 billion.

In the energy sector, CNOOC (00883.HK) and Yanzhou Coal (01171.HK) fell by 3.5% and 3.1%, respectively, while Kunlun Energy (00135.HK) dropped by 8.1%. Gold prices rose back above USD 4,500, with Zhaojin (01818.HK), Shandong Gold (01787.HK), and China Gold International (02099.HK) rising by 3.4% to 3.9%, Lingbao (03330.HK) up 4.9%, and Zijin (02899.HK) up 1.4%. The gold retail stock Laoputang Gold (06181.HK) rose by 2.5%. In the commodities sector, Chalco (02600.HK) and Jiangxi Copper (00358.HK) rose by 3.1% and 3.6%, respectively.

Power and new energy stocks rose, with Huaneng Power International (00902.HK), Datang International Power Generation (00991.HK), Huadian International (01071.HK), and China General Nuclear Power (01816.HK) rising by 4.8% to 5.5%. Datang New Energy (01798.HK) and Goldwind (02208.HK) rose by 4.1% and 3.5%, respectively, while Longyuan (00916.HK) rose by 3%.

HAIDILAO (06862.HK) reported a 14% drop in annual net profit and cut its final dividend, with its stock price falling 10% in the half-day. Its supplier Yihai (01579.HK) reported a 16% increase in annual net profit and nearly a 40% increase in final dividend, with its stock price rising 6.5%. WH Group (00288.HK) reported an 8% increase in annual net profit before biological fair value adjustments, with a slight increase in final dividend to HKD 0.41, and its stock price rose by 5.5%. Nongfu Spring (09633.HK) reported a 31% increase in annual net profit, exceeding expectations, with its stock price rising by 8.8%. Travel platform Tongcheng (00780.HK) reported a 20% increase in annual net profit, with its stock price rising by 2.6%. Mixue (02097.HK) fell by 6%, as several brokerages lowered their target prices after the earnings meeting, focusing on the company's slowing store growth. In other consumer stocks, Pop Mart (09992.HK) rose by 1.2%, while Anta (02020.HK) fell by 0.8% before earnings.

In the pharmaceutical sector, Innovent Biologics (01801.HK) and Eli Lilly (LLY.US) announced the effectiveness of their strategic cooperation agreement, clarifying that Eli Lilly has no intention of acquisition, with its stock price rising by 1%. WuXi Biologics (02269.HK) reported a 46% increase in annual net profit, with its stock price falling by 3%. China Resources Pharmaceutical (03320.HK) reported a 21% increase in annual net profit, with its stock price rising by 11.7% In the automotive sector, BYD (01211.HK) and XPeng (09868.HK) fell by 0.9% and 3%, while Nio (09866.HK) rose by 1.2%. Li Auto (02015.HK) plans to repurchase shares with a limit of USD 1 billion, and its stock price increased by 3%.

In the tech sector, Xiaomi (01810.HK) reported a 24% year-on-year decline in adjusted net profit for the fourth quarter of last year, in line with expectations, and its stock price fell by 3.3%, with target prices lowered by Citigroup and UBS. SenseTime (00020.HK) narrowed its annual loss to RMB 1.766 billion, with EBITDA turning positive for the first time in the second half of the year; its stock price opened over 3% higher before retreating, closing at HKD 1.91 for the half-day. Ping An Good Doctor (01833.HK) saw its adjusted net profit increase by 1.61 times for the year, and its stock price rose by 11.7%. Additionally, Tencent (00700.HK) and Baidu (09888.HK) fell by 1.9% and 2.1%, while Alibaba (09988.HK) and JD.com (09618.HK) rose by 0.6% and 1.1%, Meituan (03690.HK) increased by 0.1%, and NetEase (09999.HK) and Kuaishou (01024.HK) fell by 0.9% and 1.1%. Among software stocks, ChinaSoft (00354.HK) dropped by 3.3%.

In the AI sector, Zhizhu (02513.HK) rose by 3.1%, while MiniMax (00100.HK) fell by 1.7%. In the chip sector, SMIC (00981.HK) and Hua Hong (01347.HK) rose by 1.2% and 0.6%, while Wall Street (06082.HK) increased by 3.7%, and chip equipment manufacturer ASMPT (00522.HK) also rose by 3.7%. In the optical fiber sector, Yangtze Optical Fibre and Cable (06869.HK) once surged by 17.5%, rising 7.8% for the half-day, while FIT HON TENG (06088.HK) gained 12.3%.

In the financial sector, HSBC (00005.HK) rose by 0.2%, while Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing (00388.HK) and AIA (01299.HK) increased by 1% and 1.4%. China Telecom (00728.HK) reported a 0.5% increase in net profit for the year, and its stock price rose by 0.6%
