# YUNNAN ENERGY turned a profit of 900,000 yuan for the whole year, and will not distribute dividends

According to a report from Economic Information Daily on the 26th, YUNNAN ENERGY (01298) announced a net loss of HKD 898,000 for the year ended December 31 last year, while the net profit for the same period in 2024 was HKD 491,000; the loss per share was 0.33 cents, and no final dividend was declared.

The group stated that revenue was HKD 393 million, a decrease of 31.9%, primarily due to a reduction in revenue and gross profit from the supply chain business; gross profit was HKD 24.571 million, down 17.8%; gross profit margin was 6.3%, an increase of 1.1 percentage points; profit before tax was HKD 2.621 million, a decrease of 19.2%.
