# On Thursday, Tencent repurchased 590,000 shares for nearly 295 million yuan

Tencent (00700.HK) today (26th) repurchased 590,000 shares on the market, with a transaction price ranging from HKD 495.2 to HKD 506, involving nearly HKD 295 million.

Since the buyback authorization resolution was passed on May 14th last year, Tencent has repurchased nearly 113 million shares, accounting for 1.22751% of the issued share capital
