# Dollar Index Breaks Above 100, Trump Extends Iran Negotiation Deadline to April 6

The dollar index rose 0.4%, refreshing its daily high to above the 100-point mark. WTI crude oil futures trimmed their gains slightly to 4.2%, probing $94/barrel, and had reached a daily high of $95.44 at 01:55 Beijing time; Brent crude oil futures trimmed their gains slightly to 5.1%, holding steady below $108, and had reached a daily high of $109.05 at 01:55.

U.S. President Trump announced an extension of the deadline for negotiations with Iran to 8:00 PM ET on April 6, stating that the talks are ongoing and progressing very smoothly.
