# LTA introduces first of six autonomous buses for pilot testing

**They will be piloted on public bus services 400 (Marina Bay) and 191 (One-North).**

The Land Transport Authority (LTA) has introduced the first of six autonomous public buses in the city.

The vehicles will be piloted on public bus services 400 (Marina Bay) and 191 (One-North), operating alongside conventional manned buses once testing is complete.

The buses will undergo rigorous testing to ensure they meet all safety and operating requirements, the LTA said in a Facebook post.

The autonomous vehicles are equipped with cameras and sensors, in addition to standard features found on existing public buses.
