# Japan Microelectronics (6871.JP) fell nearly 2% for the whole day as the expansion reaction was tepid

The company has decided to increase its equipment investment to expand the production capacity of probe cards for advanced memory semiconductors, planning to invest 24.1 billion Japanese yen in the Aomori factory and Aomori Matsuzaki factory, and will advance this between 2027 and 2028.
