# Malaysia, Hong Kong bourse operators to offer cross-border investment opportunities

March 27 (Reuters) - Bourse operators Bursa Malaysia (BMYS.KL) and Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing (0388.HK) signed an agreement on Friday to explore streamlined dual-listing pathways and other cross-border investment opportunities between the two markets.

Here are some details:

-   The collaboration spans dual listings, exchange traded funds (ETFs), indexes, sharia-compliant securities and carbon markets.
-   As the first initiative under the collaboration, Bursa Malaysia and HKEX unveiled the HKEX Bursa Malaysia Large Cap Index on Friday.
-   The index comprises 30 Malaysian blue-chip companies and 30 Hong Kong Southbound-eligible large-cap companies.
-   “Expanding our engagement with the region is a key strategic priority as we continue our work to build a multi-asset product ecosystem, drawing global liquidity to Asia at a time of heightened macro uncertainties,” said Bonnie Y Chan, CEO of HKEX.
