# S&P Falls for Fifth Week, Nasdaq 100 Enters Correction Territory, Nasdaq Tech Index Drops Over 5.2% This Week

The S&P 500 Index closed down 108.31 points, a 1.67% decrease, at 6368.85 points, with a cumulative weekly decline of 2.12%. It fell for the fifth consecutive week, holding steady at its highs from Monday to Wednesday, and experiencing sustained declines on Thursday and Friday.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed down 793.47 points, a 1.73% decrease, at 45166.64 points, with a cumulative weekly decline of 0.90%, marking its fifth consecutive weekly drop.

The Nasdaq Composite Index (Nasdaq) closed down 459.724 points, a 2.15% decrease, at 20948.357 points, with a cumulative weekly decline of 3.23%.

The Nasdaq 100 Index closed down 454.223 points, a 1.93% decrease, at 23132.771 points, with a cumulative weekly decline of 3.20%. It has experienced a cumulative drawdown of over 11.43% from its closing high on October 29, 2025, and has also fallen for five consecutive weeks.
