CMGE Technology Group Limited ( (HK:0302) ) has shared an announcement.

CMGE Technology Group reported 2025 revenue of RMB1.39 billion, down from the prior year, and a narrowed annual loss of RMB1.48 billion as its flagship cross-platform game Legend of Sword and Fairy: World underperformed expectations and weighed on production and operations. Despite the setback, the company improved operating results in the second half, driven by stricter cost discipline and a stronger performance from other titles.

Management accelerated overseas expansion, lifting overseas revenue 31.6% year-on-year to RMB358.2 million and raising its share to 25.8% of total sales as CMGE launched localized versions of multiple games across Japan, Greater China, Southeast Asia and Vietnam. In the Mainland China market, new IP-based releases such as Chunqiu Mystery, New Romance of the Three Kingdoms: The Legend of Cao Cao and Naruto: Konoha Masters exceeded or met expectations and contributed incremental revenue, underscoring the firm’s strategy to leverage proprietary and licensed IP to stabilize growth after the flagship miss.
