# Egypt secures Libya oil imports after war cuts off Kuwaiti flows, Bloomberg News reports

March 29 (Reuters) - Egypt is set to import at least 1 million barrels of Libyan crude oil per month to offset a halt in Kuwait oil supplies, Bloomberg News reported on Sunday, citing people familiar with the matter.

Reuters could not immediately verify the report.

The agreement follows a request by state-run Egyptian General Petroleum Corp to Libya’s National Oil Corp, the report said, citing the unnamed sources.
