# The "A Series" broad-based index experienced fluctuations and adjustments today, with its valuation advantages highlighted and favored by institutions

On March 30, the A-share "A Series" broad-based indices showed a slight oscillation and decline overall. Affected by external environmental uncertainties and changes in liquidity expectations, market sentiment has become cautious. By the close, the CSI A50 Index fell by 0.5%, the CSI A100 Index fell by 0.4%, and the CSI A500 Index slightly declined by 0.1%, demonstrating strong resilience against declines.

From the perspective of index valuation and allocation value (data source: Wind, as of March 30, 2026):

CSI A500 Index: rolling price-to-earnings ratio of 16.9 times, with a valuation percentile of 72.9%, covering 89 CSI tertiary industries, widely distributed across sectors, with good diversification and growth elasticity;

CSI A100 Index: rolling price-to-earnings ratio of 17.1 times, with a valuation percentile of 82.5%, focusing on core large-cap leaders, with strong market representation;

CSI A50 Index: rolling price-to-earnings ratio of 17.7 times, released in January 2024, covering 50 industries, prominently featuring ultra-large-cap leaders, with balanced sector distribution.

China Galaxy Securities stated that in the context of unclear external trends and marginal tightening of global liquidity, the global equity market is likely to continue exhibiting high volatility characteristics, and the A-share market may primarily digest through oscillation. However, under external uncertainties, the certainty advantage of the domestic economic fundamentals is highlighted, effectively supporting the resilience of the A-share market, with current positions possessing medium to long-term allocation value.
