# US Stocks Open Higher: Nasdaq Rises 0.7%, Storage Concept Stocks Surge

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.9%, and the S&P 500 increased by 0.8%. Storage concept stocks generally rose, with Sandisk up about 4% and Seagate Tech up about 4%. Major tech stocks broadly advanced, with Tesla up about 1% and Amazon up about 1%. Most popular Chinese concept stocks were up, with Nio rising 4.5%.
