# NVIDIA's stock price hovers on the edge of a bear market

Chip manufacturing giant and darling among the "Tech Seven," NVIDIA's stock price initially rose after the market opened on Monday, then fell by 0.5%, and is currently up slightly by 0.1%.

The company's current trading price has dropped to a closing level not seen since mid-July and has entered bear market territory, having fallen more than 21% from the intraday all-time high set on October 29. Since the closing all-time high on that day, the stock has declined by just over 19%
