# Microsoft, CrowdStrike Lead Among Morgan Stanley's Top 5 AI Security Bets

Morgan Stanley identified five cybersecurity companies that are likely to benefit from rising demand for AI-focused security tools, according to a Monday research note following the RSA Conference 2026.

The firm highlighted Microsoft , Palo Alto Networks , CrowdStrike , SailPoint (SAIL) and SentinelOne as well-positioned as businesses deploy more AI agents across operations. The analysts cited growing complexity in protecting identities and managing AI-driven threats.

Microsoft's security business has about 1.6 million customers and a $20 billion revenue run rate, with key growth drivers including identity services and adoption of its E5 suite. Palo Alto Networks offers a broad AI portfolio that includes real-time protection and products such as AI Gateway, which the firm said provides an edge over rivals focusing narrowly on token-based security.

CrowdStrike's kernel-level access in Microsoft environments and large proprietary data could help it build AI security tools as attacks become more automated. SailPoint is seeing AI-focused identity security contribute about 17% of new annual recurring revenue, while SentinelOne is targeting 20% revenue growth in fiscal 2027.

Morgan Stanley has Buy ratings on Microsoft, Palo Alto Networks, CrowdStrike and SailPoint, with a Hold rating on SentinelOne.
