# In 2025, the scale of Beijing's artificial intelligence industry will reach 450 billion yuan

**Communication World Network News** (CWW) recently disclosed data at the "AI Future Forum: Leap, Investment, Coexistence" during the 2026 Zhongguancun Forum Annual Meeting, indicating that by 2025, the scale of Beijing's artificial intelligence industry will reach 450 billion yuan, accounting for half of the national total, with the number of enterprises exceeding 2,500. Among them, there are over 60 publicly listed artificial intelligence companies, with 15 companies having a market value exceeding 100 billion yuan; there are about 40 artificial intelligence unicorns, accounting for more than half of the national total. In 2025, Beijing will have 243 investments related to the artificial intelligence field, with a financing scale reaching 28 billion yuan, accounting for over 40% of the national total.

The "Lianhe Zaobao" recently reported that according to the draft outline of China's "14th Five-Year Plan" (2026 to 2030), in the next five years, China will accelerate high-level technological self-reliance and strength, develop new quality productivity, and fully implement the "Artificial Intelligence +" initiative to seize the commanding heights of technological development and artificial intelligence industry applications.

The report also mentioned that the Chinese government will accelerate the innovation of digital intelligence technology, deepen and expand "Artificial Intelligence +", empower economic and social development and governance capacity enhancement, and promote profound changes in production methods and revolutionary leaps in productivity.

Specifically, this includes strengthening the efficient supply of computing power, algorithms, and data, coordinating the advancement of computing power infrastructure construction, model algorithm development, and high-quality data resource supply; fully implementing the "Artificial Intelligence +" initiative, enhancing the integration of artificial intelligence with technological innovation, industrial development, cultural construction, livelihood security, and social governance, seizing the commanding heights of artificial intelligence industry applications, and empowering various industries comprehensively
