China's First, World's Largest! 'Changying-8' Drone Successfully Completes Maiden Flight, an 'Aerial Heavy Truck' with a 3.5-ton Payload Capacity Has Arrived

On the morning of March 31st, the Changying-8, China's first 7-ton class fixed-wing transport and delivery drone, successfully completed its maiden flight at Zhengzhou Shangjie Airport. This transport and delivery drone, independently developed by Beijing Northern Changying UAV Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary controlled by Norinco Group's Northern Company, is the first domestically validated 7-ton class unmanned transport and delivery platform. Dubbed the 'aerial heavy truck', it fills the gap in China's market for 7-ton cargo drone platforms and signifies a key independent technological leap in China's high-end intelligent aerial logistics equipment sector.
