The export of power grid equipment is showing good momentum. In terms of capital, the Guotai Hang Seng China A Power Grid Equipment ETF (561380) has seen a net inflow of over 250 million yuan for four consecutive days.

Some brokerages have indicated that the export of power grid equipment is performing well, with transformers continuing to increase at a high level and electric meters showing a recovery in growth. In the power grid equipment sector, all products exhibited strong growth momentum from January to February 2026. Specifically, the cumulative export of transformers from January to February reached 1.68 billion USD, with a year-on-year growth of 38.9%. This comes despite a high base of 45.7% in the same period last year, maintaining an extremely high level of prosperity. Switch control equipment also performed impressively, with high-voltage switch control equipment accumulating exports of 980 million USD from January to February, a year-on-year increase of 35.9%; low-voltage switch control equipment accumulated exports of 6.75 billion USD, a year-on-year increase of 31.0%, supported by a low base effect of 3.6% in the same period last year. The cumulative export of wires and cables from January to February reached 5.77 billion USD, with a cumulative growth of 38.2%, showing a significant acceleration in growth. The cumulative export of power cabinets from January to February was 2.96 billion USD, a year-on-year increase of 32.9%, also benefiting from a low base effect of 1.2% in the same period last year. Additionally, electric meters have reversed the downward trend since the second half of last year, with cumulative exports of 260 million USD from January to February, a cumulative growth of 3.3%, achieving recovery growth despite a base of 8.0% in the same period last year.
