# Frontier IP Group Slides As Insider Purchases Lose Another UK£54k

Insiders who acquired UK£175.0k worth of **Frontier IP Group Plc's** (LON:FIPP) stock at an average price of UK£0.16 in the past 12 months may be dismayed by the recent 10% price decline. Insiders buy with the expectation to see their investments rise in value over a period of time. However, recent losses have rendered their above investment worth UK£121.4k which is not ideal.

While we would never suggest that investors should base their decisions solely on what the directors of a company have been doing, we do think it is perfectly logical to keep tabs on what insiders are doing.

## Frontier IP Group Insider Transactions Over The Last Year

In the last twelve months, the biggest single purchase by an insider was when CEO & Executive Director Neil Crabb bought UK£100k worth of shares at a price of UK£0.16 per share. That means that even when the share price was higher than UK£0.11 (the recent price), an insider wanted to purchase shares. Their view may have changed since then, but at least it shows they felt optimistic at the time. To us, it's very important to consider the price insiders pay for shares. It is generally more encouraging if they paid above the current price, as it suggests they saw value, even at higher levels.
