Maiwei Technology rises in pre-market trading According to Zhitong Finance APP, NVIDIA (NVDA.US) announced a $2 billion investment in Marvell Technology (MRVL.US), and the two companies also unveiled a strategic partnership to connect Marvell Technology to NVIDIA's artificial intelligence (AI) factory and AI-RAN ecosystem through NVIDIA's NVLink Fusion. Boosted by this news, as of the time of writing on Tuesday pre-market, Marvell Technology rose over 8%, and NVIDIA rose over 1%. In a statement, the two companies indicated that Marvell Technology will provide custom AI accelerators (i.e., XPU) and a horizontally scalable network compatible with NVLink Fusion, while NVIDIA will supply its Vera CPU, ConnectX NIC, BlueField DPU, NVLink interconnect technology, Spectrum-X switches, and rack-level AI computing power. Additionally, the two companies will collaborate to advance telecommunications networks and introduce AI infrastructure, including NVIDIA's Aerial AI-RAN for 5G and 6G and advanced world-class network solutions for AI.
