Mistral AI, a rival to OpenAI, has secured $830 million in debt financing for a data center project in the suburbs of Paris, France. This funding will be used to purchase up to 13,800 NVIDIA chips for the facility located in Bruyères-le-Châtel. The startup plans to provide 200 megawatts (MW) of computing power capacity at sites across Europe by the end of 2027.
