# Oil prices dip in short term, Trump to consider ceasefire after Strait of Hormuz reopening

Brent crude fell $1.25/barrel in 5 minutes to $100.65/barrel; WTI crude fell $1.11/barrel in 5 minutes to $98.88/barrel. Trump said a ceasefire would be considered after the Strait of Hormuz is reopened.
