# BYD's March sales reached 300,000 vehicles, a month-on-month increase of 57.9%

BYD COMPANY (01211.HK) announced that in March, the sales of new energy vehicles reached 300,222 units, a year-on-year decrease of 20.5%, but a month-on-month increase of 57.9%. Among them, overseas sales totaled 120,083 units, an increase of 19.4% month-on-month. During the month, the production of new energy vehicles was 300,399 units, a year-on-year decrease of 24%.

In the first quarter of this year, the cumulative sales of new energy vehicles were approximately 700,400 units, and the cumulative production was 708,000 units, representing year-on-year decreases of 30% and 33%, respectively
