
Frequent Price Hikes Usher in Structural Transformation for the Semiconductor Industry
In the just-passed month of March, international semiconductor industry giants such as Texas Instruments and Infineon announced price increases. Among them, the maximum price increase for some Texas Instruments products reached 85%, and the price increase for Infineon's mainstream products is expected to be between 5% and 15%. In addition, China's leading wafer foundry, Nexchip, announced a uniform 10% price increase for all wafer foundry products effective June 1st. Several chip design companies have also successively issued price increase letters. The adjustment range for manufacturers such as JIANGSU JIEJIE MICROELECTRONICS, Chipsea, Halo, and Novosense is generally between 10% and 20%.
