This marks Trump's first prime-time national address in over a month since the joint US-Israeli military operation against Iran began. According to Xinhua News Agency, Trump claimed in his speech to have achieved a "quick, decisive, overwhelming victory" in the war against Iran. The core strategic objectives of the US in the conflict with Iran are "nearing completion." He asserted that the US will "never let Iran have a nuclear weapon." Iran's missile and drone capabilities have been limited. The Iranian navy no longer exists, and its air force has been destroyed. Some Iranian leaders have already died. **Extremely severe strikes will be launched against Iran in the next two to three weeks.** Trump further stated that Iran's new leadership is less radical and more rational.
