The fourth "Hong Kong International Innovation and Technology Exhibition" will be held from April 13 to 16 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The Secretary for Innovation and Technology, Sun Dong, stated that the "International Innovation and Technology Business Week" will gather over 3,700 exhibitors from 28 countries and regions, reflecting Hong Kong's unique advantages of being backed by the motherland and connected to the world, as well as its role as the best bridge for "bringing in and going out," helping Hong Kong actively seek development breakthroughs, integrate into the national "14th Five-Year Plan," accelerate the construction of an international innovation and technology center, and deepen cooperation with mainland and overseas markets. This year's "Hong Kong International Innovation and Technology Exhibition" is themed "Innovation. Intelligence. Take Off," bringing together local, mainland, and overseas innovation and technology enterprises, industry elites, and buyers to jointly promote the application of cutting-edge technology solutions in five key areas: artificial intelligence+, robotics technology, low-altitude economy, real estate technology, and retail technology, while exploring global cooperation opportunities. The "RoboPark" exhibition area will also be held concurrently, showcasing over 100 robots from technology companies in Hong Kong and abroad. In addition, the "Smart Hong Kong Pavilion" established by the Office of Digital Policy will this year focus on "Artificial Intelligence + Hong Kong," exhibiting over 100 innovative technology solutions for public convenience and business benefits from the government, as well as award-winning innovation and technology projects from local industries and students, showcasing the achievements of Hong Kong's innovation and technology and smart city development. The third "Hong Kong World Youth Science Conference" and the "Hong Kong Nobel Forum" will also take place from April 12 to 16 at the convention center. The event is organized by the Hong Kong Beijing University Alumni Alliance, with full support from the Innovation and Technology Bureau. Top innovation and technology talents, including Nobel Prize and Turing Award winners, academicians, and renowned scientists from around the world, will gather in Hong Kong to discuss the development and cooperation of cutting-edge technologies in fields such as artificial intelligence, embodied robotics, biomedicine, quantum technology, and green energy, enhancing Hong Kong's global standing in the international scientific community. The "International Academician Hong Kong Forum," organized by the International Academy Alliance on April 14, will this year become one of the events of the "International Innovation and Technology Business Week." The forum will invite Fields Medal winners and over ten globally renowned experts and academicians in medicine, artificial intelligence, and higher education as speakers to jointly promote the application of academic achievements from research to practice. At the same time, the "2026 World Internet Conference Asia-Pacific Summit" will be held on April 13 and 14 at the convention center, themed "Digital Intelligence Empowerment for Innovative Development - Building a Community of Shared Future in Cyberspace Together."
