# The semiconductor industry chain-related indices collectively adjusted. Institutional research report: High growth in computing infrastructure investment will support industry chain demand

On April 2nd, influenced by market sentiment, related indices in the semiconductor industry chain collectively retreated, with the cloud computing, chip, and equipment sectors all weakening simultaneously. By the close, the CSI Cloud Computing and Big Data Theme Index fell by 3.7%, the CSI Semiconductor Material Equipment Theme Index dropped by 3.6%, and the CSI Chip Industry Index decreased by 3.2%. The semiconductor equipment ETF E Fund (159558) saw a net subscription of 31 million shares on that day.

From the perspective of index characteristics, the valuation percentile of the cloud computing index is 95.5%, while the chip index valuation percentile is 79.3%. Morgan Stanley stated that high growth in computing infrastructure investment will support demand in the semiconductor industry chain, maintaining long-term prosperity.
