That's due to the conflict spreading to the Strait of Hormuz, a key shipping route for oil from the Middle East. With these issues come supply constraints, which have caused an increase in fuel prices. That includes gas prices, which have surged above $4 per gallon in the U.S. Uranium ETFs have also been volatile since the war in Iran started. The war helped accelerate interest in nuclear power plants to generate a source of energy without oil. The problem is that these projects are still years away from being completed.
