# Cycle over 15,000 times! "King Ning" sodium battery debuts, battery ETF ChinaAMC helps seize the growth dividend of the energy storage industry

As of April 3, 2026, 15:00, the China Securities Battery Theme Index (931719) fell by 2.59%. Among the constituent stocks, Jingsheng Electronics led the gainers with an increase of 2.02%, Nanfang Technology rose by 1.66%, and Enjie Co., Ltd. increased by 0.50%; while Shangneng Electric led the decliners with a drop of 6.79%, Hemai Co., Ltd. fell by 6.27%, and Penghui Energy decreased by 5.59%. The Battery ETF ChinaAMC (512460) declined by 2.44%, with the latest quote at 0.92 yuan.

In news, at the 14th International Energy Storage Summit, CATL showcased its sodium-ion battery for the first time, which has a cycle life of over 15,000 times and can cover large energy storage and AIDC energy storage scenarios for 2 to 8 hours. Commercialization is expected to be achieved within this year. Sodium batteries have advantages such as low cost and good low-temperature performance, and the collaborative layout of lithium-sodium has become a consensus among leading companies.

Century Securities stated that the prices of energy storage cells and energy storage systems have recently increased. Last week, the average price of 314Ah energy storage cells rose to 0.36 yuan/Wh, with the highest quote reaching 0.39 yuan/Wh, approaching the 0.4 yuan/Wh mark. Due to price transmission from upstream, the prices of downstream integrated systems have also risen. Overall, the cost of upstream raw materials provides strong support for prices; against the backdrop of strong demand certainty for energy storage, the escalating geopolitical situation in the Strait of Hormuz will increase shipping risks, which will directly raise the ocean transportation costs of lithium mines, basic chemicals, and auxiliary materials. The increase in energy costs in the chemical production process will also be transmitted through the industrial chain, ultimately reflected in the prices of upstream raw materials such as cathode materials and electrolytes. Looking ahead, energy storage, as a key means of regulating volatility and enhancing consumption capacity, has broad demand potential; with the resumption of work and production in March, the production scheduling of the energy storage industry chain is expected to rebound, and the industry will enter a peak season of rising volume and price, maintaining a positive outlook on the energy storage industry and related investment targets.

In terms of net capital inflow, the Battery ETF ChinaAMC has seen continuous net inflows over the past four days, with the highest single-day net inflow reaching 10.7729 million yuan, totaling 26.1758 million yuan, with an average daily net inflow of 6.5440 million yuan.

The Battery ETF ChinaAMC closely tracks the China Securities Battery Theme Index, which selects listed company securities involved in power batteries, energy storage batteries, consumer electronics batteries, and related upstream and downstream industries as index samples to reflect the overall performance of battery-themed listed company securities.

Data shows that as of March 31, 2026, the top ten weighted stocks in the China Securities Battery Theme Index (931719) are CATL, Sungrow Power Supply, Sanhua Intelligent Control, EVE Energy, Tianci Materials, XianDao Intelligent, Deye Co., Ltd., Greenmech, Enjie Co., Ltd., and Guoxuan High-Tech, with the top ten weighted stocks accounting for a total of 49.82%
