This is China's deepest offshore wind power project, marking new breakthroughs in China's offshore wind power in key areas such as complex deep-sea environments, integration of large-capacity units, and high-precision intelligent construction. The project has a total installed capacity of 504,000 kilowatts, with 42 12-megawatt wind turbines installed. The site is approximately 70 kilometers offshore, with water depths ranging from 52 to 56 meters, making it China's deepest commercially operated offshore wind power project. It generates about 1.7 billion kilowatt-hours annually and can save about 500,000 tons of standard coal per year. The project overcame challenges such as complex deep-sea geological conditions, frequent extreme sea conditions, and ultra-long-distance construction. It innovatively applied a four-pile jacket foundation structure, reaching a height of 83.9 meters, the highest of its kind in China. This structure can effectively ensure the safe and stable operation of the wind turbines in complex deep-sea geological environments. The project relied on the BeiDou system to develop high-precision positioning technology, achieving millimeter-level construction positioning for subsea pile sinking. Combined with intelligent assisted sinking technology, the time for subsea pile sinking for a single wind turbine in deep-sea areas was reduced from 48 hours to 29 hours. Simultaneously, using drone and artificial magnetic field collaboration technology, the laying of 95.6 kilometers of ultra-long subsea cables was completed.
