# Lin Sencheng appointed Vice Chairman of SIA Engineering | Lianhe Zaobao

SIA Engineering appointed Lim Sen Cheng as the vice chairman of the board and a non-executive independent director, effective Wednesday (April 8).

SIA Engineering announced this news in a statement on Wednesday. Lim Sen Cheng was also appointed as a member of the Nomination Committee, the Remuneration and Human Resources Committee, and the Executive Committee.

At 67 years old, Lim Sen Cheng has 42 years of banking experience in Asia, North America, and the Middle East, having served as an executive at DBS Group, leading retail banking and private banking operations.

Before joining DBS, Lim Sen Cheng served as the president and CEO of Nikko Citigroup and was a board member of Nikko Citi Holdings, holding several senior leadership positions at Citigroup.

Currently, he also serves as a non-executive independent director of Raffles Medical Group, IOI Properties Group, and Trust Capital Group.

SIA Engineering's stock price closed up 2.74%, at SGD 3.37
