In late European trading on Wednesday (April 8), ICE UK natural gas futures fell 15.40% to 114.21 pence/therm. At 14:00 Beijing time, it opened lower at 107.18 pence, hitting a daily low, and then recovered to 115.75 pence at 18:25, hitting a daily high.

TTF benchmark Dutch natural gas futures fell 9.67% to 45.205 euros/MWh, opening lower at 42.800 euros at 14:00.

ICE EU carbon emission allowances (futures prices) rose 0.38% to 70.75 euros/ton.
